| I got it started - pretty easy when there is propane in the tank. I noticed at idle makes a louder tick/not quite knock around the head (couldn't hear it lower using the screwdriver stethiscope). It goes away completely when throttled up. The oil pressure is over 40 psi at idle, so I don't think it's a rod knock (boy I hope not after being rebuilt). From what I can tell the head has been off and looks like it was tanked (no paint) and it has new plugs and wires. It's still on 6 volts, so it takes a few revs to get going - but then it runs pretty smooth. Is this all typical 706LP stuff? The only thing that is broken is the 540 pto shaft - everything else seems to work.
Thanks,
