Thumb of Michigan | Our current 1986 model grain cart will put approx. 1 scoop shovel per second over the other side of the truck. Real bad situation, I've seen it happen. Looked at a new cart last year that had the capability of putting at least 5 scoop shovels per second over the other side of the truck. I'm too old to shovel that much. We could have bought the new cart and put a camera on it. Or do what we eventually did, which was to continue to run the 1986 model. I do have a camera I use on a planter, might try to wire it up on the cart on Monday. One scoop per second is sounding like too much anymore. Conversely, we also have the ability to overload trucks pretty easily if we're not watching real close. Have 1 semi thats over 11' tall, one thats approching 12'. In the heat of the battle, its pretty simple for me to lose track of how many piles I've actually put in either of those trucks. Have to believe that being able to take a look without climbing up the side of the truck will be advantageous. | |
