Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Wild Blue started out good after the install 1 year + ago, but did a slow degrade getting slower and slower until the last couple months was almost unusable in cloudy wet conditions. Called the wild Blue service tec early this week who said my signal was really weak and said he would send the local service guy out to check dish alignment and if necessary, change out the LNB.
The dish alignment was way off because of a poor install by the original contractor allowed the dish mount to sag according to this service tec.
(might be worth checking if Wild Blue is not doing as well as it once did).
Wild blue is back working well and fast with the dish realignment, and even better news from the service tec.
The tec said he was not going to attempt to correct the poor dish install, saying that it likely would not settle much more and that the wild blue dish would be gone by March anyway. The Phone company / ISP is installing a fixed wireless system in our area which he says is faster and more reliable for the same cost per month. Cant beat a deal like that ;-) |
