Subject: Harvesting down corn

S. IL
We have some corn thats flat on the ground as a result of the hurricane. Some is snapped off altogether, so thats the biggest part of the problem. I have plastic snouts which help some and I have the head set as flat as possible, but I still spend about as much time backing up as I do driving forwards. The neighbor has a corn reel with steel fingers, but he does not do much better than me, becuase it pushes up in a big pile in front of his auger. Any ideas?
