tommy I agree with you. We have a 496 disk and CaseIH bearings are better than anyone elses hands down. We purge ours also and have put one bearing in that disk. We had a 330 JD and you had a hard time getting past a year without putting bearing in or else a whole gang falling off in the middle of the field. It also appears as though the GP turbo till also has the same type of gang bearing as CaseIH.
Greasing gang bearings on IH 490 disk???
