Make sure almost nothing else is running.
You could restart the tablet or tap the square icon and/or swipe running apps off to the side.
Something else that bogs tablets with the demanding GoApp is recording the flight to the tablet.
Though it's only 720p that uses significant resources. 
You can turn this off though the recording would be invaluable if it were to go down.
