| The mix in pic 1 will probably be followed by a pumpkin experiment that will include a no-till treatment.
The mix in pic 2 will probably be followed by a corn experiment that will include no-till treatments. The whole experiment might end up being no-till.
Treatments in both experiments will probably include spring planted cover crops.

PS We included mustard and sunflower in the mixes partly because we had left over seed that we wanted to put to use. In addition, we observed low weed pressure and excellent soil tilth the following year back when we grew sunflowers as a crop. If we had a good market for sunflowers, we would definitely grow them as a crop. Without a good market, we are trying to fit them in as a cover crop.
