Australia | I have seen many times where the pressure to sell Deere exclusively, does not come from corporate, but from territory managers with a poor knowledge of antitrust law and a bonus to secure. They don't understand they are putting their employer in a potentially sticky legal situation. This is common in large corporations where the message only goes so far. There is actually a form on the Deere corporate website where staff and others can report the improper behavior of Deere employees in regards to anti-competitive behavior. These complaints must be taken seriously by the company secretary.

Look at chapter 7 and appendix 5 & 6.
You would be surprised at how many dealers don't know about this avenue of complaint.
But you are correct Jacob; most dealers accept the bullying because it's how they make their living and they don't want to risk it. The ones that stand-up for their rights are pleasantly surprised by the results.
