| Hi I am trying to work out how to connect an external antenna / reciever to the Trimble Ez-guide 500. I am helping my Uncle work out what he needs to do to connect his 500 and a Trimble 252 reciever. He is currently using the 500 with the antenna it comes with and an ez-steer.
From what I have read on this forum the 252 reciever should be able to output GPS to the 500 with the new firmware. Does anyone know what kind of cable / connector we need to purchase along with the 252 reciever to connect it to the 500? Are there any special settings that need to configured on the 252 or the ez-guide to allow this? The document that came with the 500 firmware upgrade only briefly touched on this setup.
