NEMO | About 45' wide.
Really slow as the weeds are really thick. 0.5 to 2.5 depending on weed density. Can drive faster in foxtail. Ragweed's seem to get zapped really easy. Other broadleaf weeds need to slow way down.
Still think it is better than cultivating 2 or 3 times, but I couldn't cultivate these anyway, so this is about the only option.
Around June 8th or so drilled 10 inch beans at two different angles, 100,000 each time so 200,000 total pop. Hoped to get a quick canopy, but beans didn't come up until it rained, and so did the weeds! Tried hoeing some but was useless. Took longer to get Sparky built than I plannned, main problem was sourcing all the necessary pieces.
Really need more volts. I think the Lasco Lightning Weeder is putting out 50kv, Ole Sparky is only doing 7200 volts right now. Weed kill might not be as fast, but looks like it is killing them.
