I am not familiar with the 1240 model number, but we have a 1250 on order. You can get the 1250 without the AFS600. You have the options of a seperate fold control switch box with an Early Riser IV monitor or the option of the AFS600 to control it all. I think you had to go with the AFS600 is you got hydraulic drives. Torn is correct that you cannot move AFS600 planting logs to the InSight. You cannot move planting logs between individual InSights (Well there is a way, but it not practical in most situations). If you want varieties in the InSight for harvest, you will have to log them with the InSight. No, the Insight will not control the Ez-steer motor.
