Personally, I wish JD & Trimble RTK were interchangable. We'd have it made then. That leads to another question...can JD use Cors stuff? I'm all for everyone sharing, regardless of brands. If you can get all this Cors stuff going, it sounds good to me. However, I do have to be selfish & say that it doesn't mean a lot to us in IL. Doesn't mean a lot to me in NE IL. Maybe this will change in the future.

NavCom receivers (NavCom is a John Deere subsidiary) can work with the data formats available on the public CORS networks. However, once the receivers enter the agriculture world and are painted green and yellow, the ability to use industry-standard data formats goes in the trash. FYI....NavCom submitted a proposal for Iowa's CORS network. If they had won the bid, the would have been quite the deal: a NavCom CORS network with John Deere customers unable to access it.
