I would love to go back to wheat but can't because they applied flexstar a week ago to try to control the pigweeds. I think it killed most of the small ones but only burnt the leaves off the ones that had survives burn down at planting. I realize next year is going to be a train wreck but unfortunately all I can do is sit back and watch as these fields are Dads not mine.

If you can't plant wheat how are you going to get rye to grow? Plant some oats in the field going to beans early next spring if flexstar will allow that. Oats have been used for decades to suppress broadleaves in alfalfa.
