Those six or eight rows must have been the point of invasion.  I hand sprayed around that spot and killed thousands of worms.  A day or two after the photo was taken, the worms must have cycled out and flew away.  The beans were at stage R7, so the big boys told me the worms would do little or no damage. 

Some neighbors did spray later planted beans to avoid potential damage.
