Lee Co | 280 lbs of NH3 X.82% = 230 units/ 1.2 lbs./bu.=191 bu./a using the 1.2 lb./ bu. of corn this would be good for 191 bu / acre. so basically fertilizing for 200 bu. corn. (corn on corn) we will reconsider for next year with the high price of N but if you don't have the fertility how can you expect the yield? We try to hav all variables we can control covered. Fert., seed, population, tillage, compaction.... the only thing we can't is weather(temp and moisture) otherwise try for a high yield crop. | |
