The fact that annual ryegrass can be difficult to kill and can become a potential weed has been known for quite a while. But folks are still touting it as a great cover crop and plow pan breaker.
I suspect that "Roundup-ready" annual ryegrass is just around the corner.
Are we our own enemy?
