Subject: RE: EZ Steer on CaseIH Accusteer?

I can give you my experiences with an STX330 this spring.

I tried several different combinations - but this was the only one to give very good results (for me).

If you are interested, I can send the actual configuration file from the EZGuide/Steer 500 - I just don't have that with me in this office.

Here are the basics:

Set up the unit as a sprayer and use the steering delay feature.
Remove the hood ornament and place the antenna in its place.
Only use this configuration when the Accusteer is turned on - In fact, I run two different configurations for this tractor (one with Accusteer on, the other with Articulation)
Without looking at the file, I don't remember any of the measurements that I used. Like I said above, I will gladly send the actual config file so you can see it.
This setup worked OK with the antenna on the cab - but it really drove superior with the antenna on the hood. I never could get the shakes out of the tractor until I set it up like a sprayer and used the steering delay.

Hope this helps.

Joe
