swohio | I didn't grow up on a farm, learned a lot riding on fender of a IH 666. So started from knowing nothing about any lines of eq.. Only knew that a neighbor had all Oliver stuff. The guy who I rode on the 666 bought a JD 4400. 80 model I think. Great machine as far as doing a great job of harvesting, but learned not fun to work on at all. Right side I think had 4 belts on it and lot of work to change inner belts. Knew I never wanted one of those. When started on my own, bought a Massy 510. I have to learn the real hard way. Finally ended up with 1460 and all red eq. except for my 2-105 White, which is very reliable and easy to work on. After looking at a lot of JD combines over the years, my 1460 and 1680 sure are so much simpler to work on. Love kiss way. | |
