Weed control is one of the reasons for going this direction. We raise Non-gmo beans and some of our chemical choices are getting very expensive. The dead rye we planted into has considerable less weed pressure.
The planter attached roller unit is out of the question. What about rolling after planting? Does it give the same results or does it push the cover over your row?
