A drone, with a thermal sensor, could probably find the calf in short time if it's still alive with warm blood running through its veins.
If I were closer to you, I would help you find it, Jay. My confidence level would be high.


Thanks Robert. I spotted the mother at 6 pm last night and she had a shiny teat, which indicates that the calf had sucked very recently. So I am hopeful that it is still alive, unless the coyotes found it last night.
