Dodge Co, Wi
which brassica are you planting? rapa/napus/canola? winter or spring cultivars? most canola cultivars come from the napus sp. and as such have some different characteristics than the northern hemispheric cousin rapeseed.

Average winter canola yields here in Ontario, Canada tend to be around the 50bu range with real good yields you can hit 75bu. The winter canola around my area is typically in 15" drilled rows, harvested either by direct cutting or swathing and pickup head. Diseases can be a big deal with white mould and black leg. Insects, basically the cabbage seedpod weevil.

My counter-parts in Bruce county and out in the prairies could definitely give you some better info...where are you looking at producing it geographically?
