How come they have the mtz name vs just good Ole Belarus?
MTZ Stands (in Russian) for Minsk Tractor Works.
It's the same factory in Minsk (Belarus capital city) which produced the Belarus tractors.
Factory always used both brands: MTZ and Belarus.
USA and Canada bound tractors are now sold under MTZ brand.
MTZ 1220 hooked and ready for the morning engine break in.
