| The Phantoms are not set up to easily swap cameras, especially the Phantom 2.
The Phantom 2 doesn't allow for as much control over the camera settings (like exposure) as the P3 and P4.
You're pretty much limited to RGB (visible light) with the P2, and your best bet for trying to make something useful would be using an app like DroneDeploy to make maps.
It's enough to play around with and "get your feet wet", but my experience with the Phantom 2 and drone deploy was not good. The resulting maps looked like garbage because of the exposure changes. This was over a year ago, though. | |
