Subject: Doesn't look like the early bird gets the worm this year.

I was out looking at my corn tonight and my latest planted corn is way ahead of the rest. The heat and drought really hurt everything that was planted in the ideal window for best yeild. The latest I planted was 6/2 and it has some really good ears compared to the early planted corn. My corn planted in early May will maybe do 60 bushel and the latest planted looks like it could do about 110-120 bushel.

Is anyone else seeing the same thing? How about on beans. I think most of the problem is that the weather was so hard on the corn during the tassling and silking and early grain fill.

Thanks.

Nathan
