I have an 8 yr. old that had a good helping dad. We were mixing feed and to go from 1 silage bag to another and I decided it was time he could help drive between bags one trip was skidloader and next run was 6150 m JD in a range and 1st. He had the biggest grin a boy could have when driving the 2 all by himself. I remember starting on a JD 2240 when I was 5 or 6
