Most of us are like that David.
It is when you tour a visitor that has never been to your area before and listen to what they say about what they see, maybe check what they take pictures of and then you start to actually SEE what is around you every day.
Sometimes it takes a special 'eye' to spot these things that are so familiar but spectacular.
