Southwest Iowa | He's a little hard to see in the pic, but my 8 year old had been craving his first ride of the season since I got started last Monday. So Sunday, after church, my wife dropped him off where I was planting so he could bounce around with me for a few hours. I told him it was time to put some seed in and then I looked away. The next time I saw him he was all geared up to help put a few bags in. This all happened within 30 seconds of him climbing out of his mom's car. Anxious and ready to roll was an understatement at that time! For awhile, it took me back 30 years when I couldn't wait to ride with my dad, bouncing my head off the rear window in the 1086 while trying to catch a nap.
