If it was grade school or how did you get a nick name or what was some of your friends nick names? Mine was Caesar I think every one in my small school run by nuns all had nick names

Most of my friends called me "Bear". This was a combination from the Teddy Bear from President Roosevelt and the fact that I USED to go out at night on the prowl. Someone changed this to tedbear which is what I have used for years for my handle on various sites.

My mother was going to name me Ted but Grandmother said I needed something more official in case I became President so my official name is Theodore. This gets a little confusing with government papers as they are sometimes listed as Ted and others times as Theodore. For FSA and the like, I sign my name as Theodore (Ted) Txxxxx to cover the combinations.

I had a great uncle with the same name but now I am the only one in the world
