North of London | We are further north than you and we get 2 broods.
Have never checked to see if they go back to the same nest or not but some swallow moves in with a new batch of eggs after the first brood flies off.
We get a kick out of the swallows getting the dogs to chase them around the yard then when the dogs stir up the insects the swallows eat and keep the dogs going.
Dogs get exercise and the birds get dinner. | |
