North Central Texas | DBs and what we called river rattles down there. Hogs are bad so I'm guessing the snake was scared of the dog being perched down and attacked. Dad ran a place south of SA on the hondo river. Helped them plow about 300 ac once. Disk was draped with rattlesnakes after a few hours of plowing. Next morning we pulled over 50 off of two disks. Buzzards loved hay cutting. Dead rattlers were everywhere. | |
