Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | There is a "new" round of firmware out for the Insight. For the display itself this is version 5.5.
There is also the accompanying set of updates for the various modules that may be connected in a system. I am not sure off of the top of my head whether the combine modules have updates or not.
I do remember that many of the other modules do have upgrades.
I had planned on updating my components this weekend but didn't get that far.
I really doubt if this is the problem but it is worth a try as the new versions should be installed anyway. If wiggling on the CAN connector caused the LED to go flashing Greeen it would seem that the problem is at that point. Since switching to a different stub cable produced the same results the problem may be within the module itself.
