After looking at what size and configuration you're proposing, I think you'd be better off just studding it up conventionally with studs 16" o.c., especially if you're going to cover the exterior and interior with plywood or similar.
Just figure the building in 2' increments.
And don't buy long lumber to cut up for studs. Just buy studs. You can buy 3 studs for less than one 20' 2x4.
I'll still email you the pics of ladder style in a few minutes, but you've got a lot of small openings and corners.

You might consider just pouring a slab outside for the dog runs. Simpler and cleaner, and not much more concrete than you'd use trying to pour walls between each run.
