NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | I see your from GA where the climate is a lot different then where I live, NW IA. As far as ROI like others have said it all depends on how and when you market your grain but a bin can definetly make you some good money.
I built a nice new shop 10 years ago and absolutey love it especially in the harsh winters we get up here. I do the vast majority of all my repairs and maintenance on all of my equipment. The older I get the less I like working out in the elements. I can always find something to work on to keep busy.
If you're fix it yourself type of guy a shop is really nice. If you're not mechanically inclined and don't enjoy working on stuff then go with the bin. No way would I ever want to go back to my old dirt floor shop.
Also $50,000 won't touch the cost of a shop but will buy you your grain bins you're talking about. | |
