Midwest | I have 2 250 gal saddle tanks set up for my old tractor, but now that I switched planting tractors, I am in need of a different set up. Would it work to build a bracket to mount these tanks to the tractor? My thought is that I can easily switch them around with a forklift if needed, and sometimes I buy starter fert by the tote, so it would be easy to swap on and off the tractor. Also, if I don't use all of my fert on one of my fields, I can go to a custom planting field with a fresh empty tote, or put a new full one on if needed. I really don't see any down fall, other than looks maybe, but the tank itself should be plenty sturdy with the cage around it. | |
