Kindersley Sk. | I talked to the local Vittera guy today. He acted like this was the first he had heard of it, And talked about genetic drift and how certified didn't mean 100% pure. All true, but I wasn't 100% satisfied with the explanation either.
Does anyone think this seed mixing could have been done on purpose? Viterra seems pretty concerned about guys saving seed and growing outside the contracts (hence the flags). If they mix a little Kyle into their "certified" Navigator It would make finding fields of saved seed pretty easy. Just look for the mixed high /low durum crops without field flags in them. Bring on the snitches.
