SWOH | i think monsanto is shooting themselves in the foot with $300/bag corn and ridiculous bean prices not to mention the prices for herbicides. in an interview with DTN one of the monsanto head guys said they'll keep raising prices until they get the red face syndrome or something to that effect and they see a decline in sales. i hope this does it and they either implode or lose a majority of their customers. i hear a lot more guys talking about conventionals next year. he also said what the goal is for the company's net profit next year which i can't remember exactly what it was but i'll see if i can dig that article up. it was ridiculous what they expect to profit next year and what they profited this year so far. but it's all about helping the American farmer, right?
