Should have clarified uses...for turning wrenches I have tried wearing mechanix gloves and didn't like it...about the only time I use these gloves is using a shovel or post hole digger (something I try to avoid, replacing some grass last night did this pair in) and working with barb wire, with a few other uses off and on. Mostly just to keep from tearing my hands up. I've got a pair that stay on the tractor for hooking up hydraulics, etc. This pair will pretty much stay in the pickup for when needed in the summer. I've got lined leather gloves for winter that wear out much quicker than these since they are on my hands more.
