I just did it on mine. Follow this video it's really easy. You download a software from the Horizon Hobby website, then you plug it into your computer with the cable included with it. It's a diagnostic type program, and you can set the hight Maximum and distance max as well.
I hope you have better luck with yours than me. I got mine for Christmas and made lots of flights with no issues. I took it out on the water to do some filming and I had it in follow me tracking our boat and it lost gps and crashed into the water!! Really not sure what happened, it was only like 100 yards behind me and it was fully charged. By the time I got turned around it was sunk. I called in and they are sending me a replacement at cost, but it still sucks.
