USA | Been hauling beans to Decatur. Come home Rt 48 yesterday afternoon. What are the raised beds on the east side of 48 north of Taylorville that are covered with black plastic?
While there are some pretty good looking crops along 48 south of Decatur to Raymond, it is not what a person is accustomed to seeing along that route . From what I saw, would rate the crop prospects in this stretch as the poorest I have seen in recent memory.
Lokks like they are working at the ADM bean plant at Taylorville. I had heard that they were going to open it back up to take corn and beans this fall. If this is the case would think that it would hurt the local elevators in that area.
