Subject: RE: P-Nut innoculant

SE Georgia
I'm located in SE georgia, and we still use an innoculant on all peanuts.I'm not sure about 80 years, man your old Carl LOL,but have had peanuts a long time, but we still think innoculant is a good insurance policy. We used a hopper box treatment this year and the results were not consistent at all. IN the 80s we had this happen once and we spread 150# of ammonium sulfate and it worked well. I was thinking about adding some coron in with the next spray just to see if it would green the field up because it was cheaper than dry fertilizer. I think next year we will be back to liquid in furrow treatments.I like to put a little abound in with it and it seems to keep young peanuts a little healthier.
