Litchfield MN. | From what I have heard the change in the e-drive is to a proportional type hyd. valve instead of the so called bang-bang valve. Should help smooth it out. I wonder if the S3 updates are going to be for fixing glitches or improving accuracy? I suspect fixing glitches. Although I had no problems with mine I guess a few did.
I'm just not sure how much accuracy improvement is possible with their current operatiing platform. I sure like the potential of the CORS network settup but I just invested in the Outback system last fall. If I could replace the Baseline with a cell phone system like Intime Conection sells the cost would be minimal, but to start over with a new systems isn't as atractive.
So the question becomes: 1. Bite the bullit and make the switch.
or
2. Wait to see what Outback can do to improve what they have.
or
3. Be content with what I have.
Isn't technology fun!!
