Does anyone here have experience with Excel mobile?

I am using a program to write data into Excel mobile on a Dell Axim. I currently have it set so that the data is written into multiple columns so I can sort it by date, sum up totals, etc. The string contains an "enter" so that it moves to the next row for the next data string. The problem I have, is that when the data is written into excel, the selected cell moves straight down, rather than down and all the way to the left like it would on a PC.

Letting it continue to do this creates a bunch of data running at a diagonal across the spreadsheet.

I can't seem to find any options to adjust for this. I can set it up so that the entire string is placed in one cell, but it will create a lot more work to process the data.
