Hi Scully.

Here is a picture of my youngest son heading for 1´st place in a local pulling event.
He drives a Fordson Super Major of 1962 vintage. He modified it with a Renault truck engine which he souped up to around 600 hp.
The kind of punishment those old transmissions and rear ends will take is amazing. So far he only split one of the bull gears. No planetary drives on this old baby. A good piece of notched flat iron to keep the gear lever in the selected, often the highest, gear is a must.
