Subject: any interplant planters that keep tires off of rows?

We currently use a 3600 kinze 12r23n interplant with individual seed hoppers that follows a fall ripper and 2pass spring field cultivator system. We dropped 165,000ppa for the 15in. row soybeans at a depth +/- 2in., and got a slow emerging stand between 90,000 and 140,000ppa mostly on light soils, but still had problems in some dark soils too due to several possible factors. Soils were cold, had a 3 1/2" rain night after planting that washed away some seeds on slopes, and the planter tires go right over the planted row causing too much compaction this year for the plant to push through. So any adjacent rows that failed to emerge left a very thin stand with 45in. gaps in spots. Should we go back to 30" row soybeans so the seed doesn't get run over by the tires or is there a manufacturer who makes 15in. row planter that has narrow tires that stay off the rows? prefer individual seed hoppers but may consider a bulk seed planter.
