South Africa | Hey everyone. Hope someone here can help me. Recently, for no apparent reason, my HP Scanner software stopped working. The tech who came to look at it fixed it, and also uninstalled and reinstalled my HP printer software. After this I got intermittent error messages when trying to print, saying "the print spooler device is not running". So I turned off print spooling, which seems to work slightly better. But now it locks up the programs whenever I try to print. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas? I've reinstalled several times and swapped the USB ports too. This machine is running XP Pro. | |
