Then it is not set properly for plastic, not the balers fault.
Best thing I ever did was buy a JD technical manual for balers to set up my knotter shaft when it ate a tree limb. Very good diagnostics and pictures showing knots and what-nots, probably one for NH too but all knotters are basically the same, even my 1923 corn binder.
