<p>What you quoted is correct, but the first part of the sentence that contains that quote says "If the vehicle is less than 1 mile away from the base station". (page 5). So as long as the vehicle is within a mile of the base station, Deere will spec +/-.9 inches 95% of the time. Trimble will make the same claim, but will make it at 6mi, not 1mi. Sub-inch refers to being up to 1 inch to either side of the nominal swath line. So it actually allows for up to 2 inches of possible offline travel. This is true for Trimble or Deere or anyone else quoting +/- values, unless they specifically say otherwise.</p><p>The values I quoted were from page 3 of the Deere brochure.  Find the single asterisk that tells you there is fine print at the bottom of the page. </p>
