Grand Rapids, MI | I am pretty sure that your local office is mistaken here. I know that I have signed up plenty of farms where the landlord was an entity. Probably a dozen at least in 2-3 different counties just this year. Now these were all cash rent situations, I am not sure if yours are share rent or if that makes a difference. In a cash rent situation you will still need to present a cash lease or have the landlord sign to "zero shares" on the contract. In a share agreement, the landlord will have to sign the contract, which should be able to be done either by him online (or by you if you have POA) or you could print off the contract that you executed online and forward it to him to sign and return, or he could just physically go to the county office.
As for an entity getting level 2 access this is correct. Just the same way that an entity can't sign its name. Level 2 is only granted to natural persons. Those persons are then tied to entities through something FSA calls "representitive link manager" | |
