West Cental Arkansas | Jddriver------I have had a neighbor like the one you are describing. It was all his surrounding neighbors to take care of the fences that bordered his cattle. Also when his got out us neighbors were to corral his cattle, but if one of ours were to get in his pasture, we were on our own to get ours back to our farms.
If those who have been giving you he77 have never had a neighbor like this, they don't have a clue as how to deal with this type of situation.
Sherriff could not help us. According to the Sherriff it was a civil matter, not a criminal matter, so therefore he could not put the owner of the wandering cattle in the pokey.
Our situation was finally cured when the neighbor died. His wife sold the cattle.
It was bad for a long time, now it is the way it should be, neighbors helping neighbors. | |
