| We used to have one that was built at a local welding shop.
Just a spear with piece of angle iron welded crosswise to slip over the edge of the bucket.
Then hooked a chain on the back end of the spear and wrapped around the bucket, tightened with a binder.
For a couple bales once in while it worked ok if you don't have anything better. Visibility is terrible, the weight is too far in front of the loader, the spear has a tendency to wiggle up or down when trying to stab a tight bale and is hard to get pushed into tight bales.
A quick tach bale spear is so much better that if you need to handle bales long term I'd be inclined to suggest finding a way to put quick tach on the loader. It works so much better its hard to believe unless you've used both methods.
